By downloading or using Kefalonia Guide ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.
1. License
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the App Store Terms of Service.
2. Content
All content in the app (descriptions, tips, translations, maps) is provided for informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, we make no guarantees regarding completeness, correctness or current validity of any information, including opening hours, prices, ferry schedules or emergency numbers.
Always verify critical information (emergency contacts, transport schedules) from official local sources before relying on it.
3. In-App Purchases
The app offers a one-time purchase to unlock premium features. All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's App Store Terms. Purchases are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policy.
4. Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, modify or distribute any part of the app or its content
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
- Use the app for any unlawful or commercial purpose
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Use of the app, especially in remote areas with limited connectivity, is at your own risk.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sebastian Brzeziński shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the app.
7. Changes
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland.

10. Car Rental Bookings – Cancellation Policy
Car rental booking requests submitted through Kefalonia Guide are forwarded to Mercury Rent a Car. A deposit is charged at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. The following cancellation policy applies to this deposit:
- More than 48 hours before pickup: Full refund of the deposit. Refund processing time depends on your bank and may take up to 10 business days.
- Less than 48 hours before pickup: The deposit is non-refundable.
- No-show: The deposit is non-refundable.
The deposit amount covers the booking service fee charged by Kefalonia Guide. The remaining balance for the rental is paid directly to Mercury Rent a Car at vehicle pickup, in accordance with Mercury's rental terms and conditions.
To cancel a reservation, contact us at contact_mobile@icloud.com at least 48 hours before your scheduled pickup time.
